11-year CAASPP trends, filterable by subject, grade, school & student group
Pick a subject, school, grade, and student group below; every chart updates together. 2014–15 through 2025–26 (2019–20 has no data: CAASPP testing was suspended statewide for COVID-19).
01Percent meeting or exceeding standard, 2015–2026
02Where the ground was lost: achievement levels over time
All four achievement bands, each year, for the current selection.

04Change from first to last year, by grade
Point change in percent meeting or exceeding standard, from each grade's first to most recent tested year.
05Which skills eroded most
Claim-area (skill-level) breakdown isn't available for this school/grade/student-group combination. CDE suppresses this more granular data below a minimum student count, even when the overall score is reported.

06Students tested each year
Participation for the current selection, by year.
07Ask about SMFCSD's data
Ask anything about the district's CAASPP results — district-wide trends, any grade, any school — or narrow in on whatever subject/school/grade/group is currently filtered above. Answers reason over the dashboard's data, not outside sources unless you turn on web search below.
Ask a question, or pick one of the prompts above.
Answers are generated by Claude from the dashboard's own data (and, when the web-search option above is checked, live search results) and can be wrong; verify anything important against the source CAASPP files.

01Where SMFCSD falls among California districts
Includes SMFCSDOther districts
02SMFCSD vs San Mateo County and California
Percent meeting or exceeding standard in grades 3–8, every year. 2020–21 testing was optional, so fewer districts reported that year.
03SMFCSD's standing over time
Share of California districts that SMFCSD outscored each year. 50% would be exactly in the middle.

06Counties
All 58 counties, ranked for the selected subject and year. County figures include every public school in the county, charters and county-run programs included. Student counts are grade 3–8 students with scores.
About these numbers: CDE's statewide research files, All Students only. Each district is scored on grades 3–8 combined: the grade-level results weighted by students with scores, leaving out grades CDE suppressed (10 or fewer students). That keeps high-school and unified districts comparable to SMFCSD, which is K–8. County offices of education and State Board of Education-authorized charters (which CDE lists as their own one-school "districts") are listed but not ranked. 2014–15 and 2015–16 figures are built from whole-number percentages, so they can differ from CDE's own totals by up to half a point. Starting in 2025–26 CDE calls this measure "Proficient and above".
